His Excellency Rev. Dr. Levi Njombole Nyondo

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the official website of the Embassy of the Republic of Malawi in the Federative Republic of Brazil.

The Embassy was established in July 2010. Since then, both countries have enriched and maintained their relations in the diplomatic, commercial and technical cooperation fields. As Malawi seeks to play its part in strengthening South-South Cooperation, Brazil is seen as a very important partner.

In addition to providing diplomatic representation to the host nation of Brazil, the Embassy also represents Malawi, although it has non-residential bases in Latin America countries.

This site provides an insight into Malawi, its people, culture and investment opportunities there. The site is available in both English and Portuguese, and provides links to Malawian Government Departments and Ministries, and various organizations and companies that may be of interest to readers. We hope the site will be a useful tool for government officials, business people, students and the Brazilian public in general, as well as anyone looking to learn more about Malawi.
